This two wine illustrations where commissioned by Rabassaires, a local winery that are recovering winery areas around Barcelona, which had been misused to produce wine for several generations. The commission was to use two popular folklore characters Medir and Cugat.
Here you can see how I got to the idea that the two characters could be facing each other as if they were sharing the same table. Then we started to look for the type of color paper we wanted as background, and we went for these earthy tones.
The bottle design, cork type, label design was made by PebeStudio. We managed to have a very distinctive look and also a cool concept behind.
